Safeguarding Young Peoples Future

ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THE SKILLS GAP?

  • Is your company facing the imminent retirement of a skilled Technician?
  • With the current skills shortage, how will you replace those skills?
  • Does your company have primary skilled Technicians performing secondary skilled manufacturing operations?

Employers are recognising that the skills gap is getting bigger and are having to succession plan.

Is now the time to consider an Apprentice?

STEGTA offer a FREE Apprenticeship recruitment service where we will advertise your vacancy on The National Apprenticeship website and shortlist candidates for you based on your requirements.

For further information, please contact the Business Development Team on

STEGTA WEBSITE DEVELOPMENTS!

Trescal Alongside our Stegta Business Training tab, Stegta have now developed a further 2 new features including the Stegta Moodle and the Stegta Trades Test.

The Stegta Moodle site is a virtual learning environment and has been developed to support our Apprentices with all aspects of their learning. All Apprentices currently in training with Stegta will be issued with Log in details to enable them to access a variety of online resources including Health and Safety, Employment Rights and Responsibilities and Functional Skills revision materials.

The new Stegta Trades Test is an online Aptitude Assessment and measures a candidate's understanding of a selection of skills linked to the Engineering and Construction trades. As Stegta are now working with young people nationwide, this is a great step forward in enabling us to remotely assess an individual's skill base knowledge.

Trescal Limited has been enjoying a great working relationship with STEGTA via our Stockport branch for a number of years. Trescal Limited are a global calibration and measurement organisation within the UK and we very much value the importance of succession planning and see our apprentices as integral in the growth and development of our business visions for the future.

With this in mind STEGTA have now become our UK partners in the placement of apprentices throughout the whole of the UK business, from Scotland to Norfolk. Since we have been working with them they have provided us with the highest calibre of candidates and with young people who are enthusiastic about engineering and with a want to have a hands on career and future in this field.

STEGTA provide the highest level of support to all of the apprentices they place with us not only from a training perspective but also on a practical day to day life experience basis which is invaluable to the young people in their schemes.

Trescal Limited are proud to be working with STEGTA in the UK.

Do you have any other divisions in the UK which may require our support to help them recruit an Apprentice?
