National Apprenticeship Week 5th – 9th March 2018

STEGTA celebrated National Apprenticeship Week by attending a number of events and also sharing some of our Apprentice and Employer Success stories. Both events were a great success!

Louise O’Toole, Business Development Officer and John Whitby STEGTA CEO attended Wellacre Academy Careers Fair to talk to Year 7 - 11 about Apprenticeships in Engineering / Technical Construction.

Ian Parker, Business Development Manager/Deputy CEO attended Wythenshawe Hospital Careers Event to support Apprenticeship opportunities within the NHS.

Year of Engineering

Did you know that 2018 is the Year of Engineering?

In November 2017, the government announced that 2018 will be the Year of Engineering, a national campaign to increase awareness and understanding of what engineers do among young people aged 7-16, their parents and their teachers.
