STEGTA Celebrates National Women in Engineering Day!

A day dedicated to raising the profile and celebrating the achievements of women in engineering.

National Women in Engineering Day has been set up by the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) to celebrate its 95th anniversary. On this day they want to focus attention on great opportunities for women in engineering, at a time when it has never been more important to address the engineering skills shortage.

What better way for us to celebrate this than show casing two of our female Training Officers and their Apprenticeship journeys! You can read their Case Studies below

I had friends that went there and they said you could go to College and do practical work, it sounded just up my street. I could carry on with my studies and do practical work. I had always liked making things and I couldn’t sit at a computer all day.
