Our CAD Skills Awareness Course is designed to equip you with essential knowledge and practical skills for the world of Computer Aided Design. Join us for a short and intensive training experience at STEGTA’s purpose built training facility, where you’ll gain the CAD expertise needed to excel in the engineering world.
Location of Delivery: STEGTA Training Centre – Irlam Road, Urmston, M41 6AP.

| • Introduction to the STEGTA training Centre • Health & Safety induction • Health & Safety overview within work environment. • Introduction and history of CAD • Introduction to Inventor • A brief outline of drawing standards |
• Discuss the different Inventor file types • Ipt (Inventor Part) • Iam (Inventor Assembly) • Idw (Inventor Drawing) • Create inventor parts 1-8 • Create inventor parts 9- 14 if required • If required there are 6 more parts the learners can attempt |

| • Discuss the use of drawings in the workplace. • Learners own experience. • Create inventor assemblies (Iam) • Constrain the parts and standard screws. • Create drawing of the assembly along with a BOM (Idw) |
